I know a lot of PerfectDisk users are video enthusiasts, and a lot run or work in businesses that do a lot with video (editing, etc.). And I also know from hearing from several of you that many are just getting started with video, or trying to learn more about it, how to improve your videos, and more. While we've discussed previously in the blog about why you really need a defragmentation tool if you're doing a lot with video, today I just wanted to share with you some useful resources for consumers.
My favorite video magazine is Camcorder and Computer Video Magazine (http://www.candcv.com). It has some great information for the beginner all the way to experienced event videographers. You'll find product reviews, tips on taking pictures and videos, and even a lot of multi-media teqhniques. Unfortunately, there's not really an online version, other than a list of what's in the publication. But the magazine is readily available at Borders or other bookstores. Videomaker (http://www.videomaker.com), and Computer Video Editing Magazine (http://www.computervideo.net) are a couple of other nice pubs.
So if you're getting ready to do some holiday shopping, or just want to become a bit more knowledgeable about video, you may want to give one of these a try.
