Well, here we are -- the big day -- Election Day 2008 here in the United States is upon us. The longest campaign comes to an end, with change one way or the other headed our way with implications not only here, but around the world.

In our "little" defrag world, people around the world are voting for change every day. In October alone, where we saw PerfectDisk sales increase 14% over October 2007 in a month that saw companies everywhere see business fall, companies and users from over 50 different countries joined the PerfectDisk family. Yes, there are the multi-billion dollar companies like Northrup Grumman and Newscorp, But also the video photographer in El Salvador who switched to PerfectDisk so he could not only get automatic defragmentation, but pick selected large files to defragment when necessary. Or the consulting firm in Romania that discovered PerfectDisk's single-pass free space consolidation was the best fit for its customers. Or the law office in Cyprus that found the right mix of quality and price. Or the Microsoft Certified Trainer from Ireland who now includes a brief session on PerfectDisk in his classes.
51 countries in October. 110 countries represented in the last 6 months. With many switching from the use of another defragmenter, they're voting for better value, better quality, and a smarter way to defrag. Others are voting to get back their computer's original performance.
The United States votes November 4th. Around the world, votes are being cast every day.
