Hi Tom,
Thanks for your comment. I think your best bet is to contact [email protected] and they can help you with any PerfectDisk issues. It is a disk defragmenter.
Thanks,
Joe

Hi there,
I was trying to remove a game and anoother program from my computer because i wasnt able to do it through add/remove, so I went ahead and installed (Dont ask why) Windows Install Clean up.
When I was installing it, it said something about Perfectdisk 2008 being installed and that if I install windows clean up something something, sorry cant remember.
Now obviously I didnt find the game and program I was looking to uninstall through windows clean up, what should I do now? Should I uninstall windows clean up? I'm not even sure what Perfectdisk is? Help please.

Hi Giulio,
We're getting close to that SP1, but not this weekend - sorry! In just a little bit though...
Thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe,
concerning that rollback while installing: apparently there are some problems with "DIFXapp", so support told me a service pack is due to happen soon, actually removing DIFXapp's usage into PerfectDisk....so this should solve my problems. And avoid many others in future.
So let's wait for PerfectDisk 2008's SP1, coming this weekend! Yeah, it's for real! :)

Hi, Joe,
unfortunately the tool didn't work....install still rolls back without any specific error message....I got in touch with the support team and they also prompted me the cleaning tool. I ran it and told them it didn't help, I'm waiting for an answer. Hope to have it working soon.... :( Will post here if they answer back. Thx for your suggestion, though: feel free to give me some more, if you have. :)

Hi Soldier 1st,
Sorry about that. The button should have been removed. The videos should be available shortly.
Thanks,
Joe

I've downloaded the evalutation version, yet it won't install....it reaches the "registering product" phase, then rolls back without any further message, prompting me to exit....I've already contacted tech support, but I'm also posting there to see if anyone has a clue....(WinXP Home SP2 on a 3.20ghz 1mb ram machine)

Hellow ,
I'm currently using PD2008 , evaluating it as a trial.
I liked the idea behind StealthPatrol so , I set it up and expected to see the results.
It appears that every time StealthPatrol try to defrag it immediately stops and the log shows that : StealthPatrol schedule suspended : system actility.
The problem is that there is NO activity in my system at the times StealthPatrol try to defrag!! I canceled my screensaver , i have to application running,, just plain OS and ESS (Antivirus+FW) . What could be the problem? please help me since I'd like to buy PD2008 , but this problem holds me off currently.
My OS is XP PRO .
Thank you !

That's great news - downloading now! A quick question that I couldn't locate in the FAQ - will there be an upgrade path (discount) for v8 users (that don't have current software assurance)
