HEY I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM TOO! Windows Live Messenger makes my metadata files go haywire as well! HOPE YOU GUYS COULD DO SOMETHING TO FIX IT! or maybe even partner with Microsoft to try and resolve this inane and if not, stupid issue!

I hope you guys could do something about the metadata problem with Windows Live Messenger, because every time i install it, the metadata files go haywire. as in perfect disk asks me to offline defrag almost everyday!
