Hmmm, indeed. It should not be doing this - are you sure it is? If you think this is occurring, you should probably contact Technical Support at PerfectDisk_Support@raxco.com and explain what you are seeing. PerfectDisk only connects during Autoupdate.

hmm, i'd like to know more about PD91Engine.exe trying to connect to the Net even after disabling the auto-update option. PD hasn't done this before if i remember correctly and now I wonder what it is for, as i'm a little bit paranoid about my privacy TBH...
